Heart Compass app for iPhone and iPad

This app was developed for adolescents and adults with congenital heart disease. It allows everybody to have important personal clinical information any time at hands.

The app contains 5 sections: General information, emergency information, a specific heart-defect picture, medical information including the type of previous cardiac surgeries or implanted devices, and a section for attached files (i.e. chest x-ray pictures, ECGs, etc.). Your heart specialist must provide parts of the medical information.

In order to use this app, your heart doctor must contact the Center for Congenital Cardiology at the University Hospital Inselspital, in Bern / Switzerland ([email protected]).

The system has been developed in cooperation with the ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research of the University of Bern.
